Our Sawbuck Tables are beautifully created dining tables crafted to order in our Winchester workshop. Inspired by a classic furniture form rooted in 18th-century design, this table features distinctive X-frame supports — known as sawbuck style — combined with the natural warmth and strength of English oak for a striking and enduring centrepiece.

This contemporary style handmade sawbuck table is made from English oak. It is called a “sawbuck” because the base resembles a sawhorse. The simple design and balanced proportions make it a great table for maximising space, as there are no legs in the corners so making it much easier to accommodate more guests. This particular table was commissioned with a bespoke handmade chair-backed bench.
