Supported by a sturdy trestle base crafted from reclaimed timber and detailed with traditional pegged joints and wooden pegs, this table blends rustic charm with timeless craftsmanship.

Trestle tables are known for their simplicity, durability, and flexibility. A trestle is a horizontal beam supported by two or more vertical legs or frames. This wonderfully unique Waney Oak Trestle Table measuring a substantial 3.5m by 1.2m really celebrates the eccentricity of English pippy oak in all its glory. It is packed full of rustic charm and yet retains a distinctive elegance.
Steve carefully selected the pieces of pippy oak to achieve as much interest and beauty as possible. Featuring a live edge, this particular design really shows off the pips and burrs in the timber throughout the table. You can really see how with colours ranging from pale straw to dark honey brown the grain swirls around the knots and clusters. It creates truly exquisite wild patterns and figures.
The butterfly joints on the tabletop are a signature feature, highlighting the eye-catching cracks of this exceptional timber. The striking base is made from reclaimed timber, with the simple wooden pegs in the legs giving real authenticity to the overall look and feel of this one of a kind piece of furniture.
