To Paint Or Not To Paint? The Choice Is Yours

The beauty of working with Steve and commissioning a table or any piece of furniture, is that you can make choices that are personal to you. The trestle table is a style that has been popular for centuries. Historically, the trestle icon has been used in heraldry as it was symbolically associated with hospitality, being used both as a stool and to support tables at banquets.
Now you could choose to go for a very classic, weighty style using a combination of English oaks. For example, here the distinctive trestle base and table top ends are made in English brown oak. True brown oak is unique to the British Isles. The chocolate hue nicely compliments the main section table top made in honey coloured oak.
“At last, I have the bespoke kitchen that I’ve always wanted, with the piece de resistance being my fabulous new table. Thank you for all your efforts. I couldn’t be more delighted.” Anne McIntyre, Kingsworthy, Hampshire
Alternatively you could add a twist by selecting a more refined version of the trestle table. You could choose to have it made in a single English oak and to give it an added touch of contemporary styling. Here a painted trestle base compliments nicely with the deep honey coloured table top. On this occasion it’s a Farrow & Ball paint colour. However you can choose whatever brand and colour of paint you like to fit in with your colour scheme.
