Adding A Splash Of Colour

When it comes to the design and finish of your new piece of furniture, the only limit is your imagination. Sometimes it can be nice to add a splash of colour to your lovingly crafted table or chairs. Working with Steve, you can choose whatever brand or colour of paint that you would like to go with your own colour scheme.
Painting is one of many ways to personalise your furniture. Whenever you think about painting a piece of furniture, it can be good to consider several factors. Will the paint enhance the style of the furniture or distract from it? Could a coat of paint make the item look even better? How will it fit with the design of the room?
By painting accent pieces you can add charming touches to your home. This contemporary style handmade trestle table has been created using English oak. The dark grey painted base compliments the deep honey colour of the table top. In this particular case, the customer chose a Farrow & Ball paint in Elephant Breath.
In contrast, the turned legs of this traditional kitchen table have been given a modern twist by being painted. This particular shade of blue/grey really compliments the lighter tones of the table top made in English ash. Another way to add add colour to a room is to paint your chairs. This chair has been painted in a retro green which gives a real pop of colour against the golden hue of the oak table top.
