This striking contemporary style handmade refectory table, is an exciting combination of English ash and black walnut. Sometimes known as the ‘Venus of the woods’, ash is one of the toughest hardwoods and absorbs shocks without splintering. The use of light and dark timbers allows Steve to showcase the construction of the table and emphasises his dedication to traditional joinery techniques.
