Steve designed this classic Gothic styled oak table several years ago and it’s still a popular choice with his customers. It’s a very robust and chunky table which perhaps looks better in a larger size, so 6ft long plus. The qualities associated with oak really lend it to being the timber of choice for this particular table. In England the oak has for centuries been a prized hardwood timber and a national symbol of strength and survival. It is one of the hardest and most durable timbers in the world.
