This handmade English oak Regency Style Table follows a more traditional design with an elegantly shaped and proportioned pillar leg and low set stretcher. At 10ft by 3ft6″ this table is quite some size. A table like this would look fabulous in a large country house for either the grandeur of the dining room or the relaxed atmosphere of a large open-plan kitchen. Steve created a version of this significant table for the elegant Grade II listed Regency mansion, Puckrup Hall, currently owned and run by the Hilton hotel group.

Regency-style tables refers to furniture designed in the style that became popular during the Regency period in Britain (1811–1830), under the regency of George IV. This period is characterized by elegant, neoclassical-inspired designs, with a focus on symmetry, refined proportions, and luxurious materials. Regency-style furniture blends classical influences with sophisticated, restrained ornamentation.
